Okay so, I've never really been an athletic person and I am overweight. So this summer My mom told me I should do football. I decided I would. BUT my only motivation for doing it is to loose weight. I hate the game of football and don't understand it at all. The first few days of practice were fun and during that time I told my mom I wouldn't quit. However, I am into the second week of it and absolutely hate it with a burning pion! I told my mom and she says that I promised I wouldn't quit, and that all my like I've been hanging around girls, and that I always have an attitude with her, people will make fun of me if I quit (I don't care), And that I haven't given it enough time, and that nothing would make her happier than sitting in the bleachers and watching me play. I want to make my mom happy but I want to do something that I like. It's not like I didn't give it a chance you know? And here's the thing, I don't understand football at all! Hi, I'm a 16 year old female. I'm the middle child of 3 daughters and live with both my parents however they fight a lot. When I was 11 my dad left home for the first time but it was only for a week, he leaves a lot but always comes home after a while. The longest time he left was for 3 weeks. However, my father has bought an apartment and plans to move into it. A few years ago when i was 13, I was bullied by a group of girls in my grade, i would be so scared i spent recess hiding and would only leave school until all the girls had left. I would go home and sleep before I had lunch or did anything else I just get into bed and my mum noticed that something was wrong but I don't talk to her about my life (we don’t have such a good relationship) so she only officially found out when the school gave them a worrying phone call. I am now best friends with some of those girls and so there is no reason to remain "depressed" about that. The effect of the bullying should have worn off. For about 4 years now, I’ve had extreme mood swings. I've had days of major depression where i fake being sick to stay in bed and avoid going to school. At social outings I sometime get really upset and leave early without knowing the reason for why I feel so bad. I may burst into tears for no particular reason.There are times where I am extremely irritable and want to do nothing but sit in the dark under the covers. I have a terrible temper and often get into rages, when i get really angry with my siblings i may physically hurt them and my mother always tells me what a difficult child I am. At other times I feel quite normal but it doesn't last long. And sometimes I am over the top happy and nothing can bring me down i feel more sociable than ever, I'm laughing making jokes, singing, having the time of my life that my friends tell me I'm not acting normal and my mother says that if i weren't at home all day she'd say i was on something or drunk. My energy levels would be over the top and I’m probably the happiest most bubbly person alive. I feel like a puppet and no one knows who's pulling the strings. About three years ago I started cutting and ice-burning (ice & salt burns) myself when I got upset or angry but recently the cuts and burns have increased and i do it much more often. I got caught cutting in school once, it was a terrible day i felt so depressed for no reason, i was crying hysterically and had no control over myself. it was one of the worst and most embarring days of my life. At a party once i was dancing with this guy when i suddenly felt so sad i started crying and screaming and felt depressed for the rest of the party. Someone thought that the screaming and sudden crying was because i was wasted and attempted to force me to vomit but i had had only 2 gles and i could walk properly and so i was not even tipsy. Last year at a summer camp I attended someone caught cuts on my arm and I was put into the health center for 4 days until my parents had to take a 12 hour flight to pick me up, I felt as if I was in a mental hospital. I tried to run away from the health center numerous times they even igned someone to “keep an eye on me” yet I managed to run away I was brought back to the health center in a security car and it was scary. They’d call my parents and tell them “your daughter is on the loose on campus” as if I was some nut case. My grades this year have gone down tremendously, they started decreasing about 2 years ago but this year i failed 5 subjects in the first semester and 2 in the second. Even at 16 I still have nightmares that keep me up at night and I have trouble sleeping it takes me hours to fall asleep and i wake up numerous times every night. And i have gained more weight this year than i have ever gained (I’m not overweight , I just gained weight). I was diagnosed with ADD but i think it's not ADD and has something to do with another mental disorder. I don't feel normal and i've lost friends because of my constant extreme mood swings they always tell me i'm either too happy or too sad i have no in-between and sometimes i do feel that way. I've been going to a therapist since february and i don't see myself getting anywhere. She's not the first therapist i've been to, i've been to two others over the past 3 years and nothing is working with me. My mother also tells me i always blow things out of proportion. When i fought with her one time i ran away from home for about 7 hours. My boyfriend cheated on me with a younger girl 3 times i forgave him the first 2 times but the third time i unwillingly let go and i was depressed and lonely for about a month.

The problem with having my name ("Carla Rei") as the sender replaced with my email address in the quote marks (in addition to being repeated within the lesser/greater symbols) is that it causes the recipients Inbox to reflect ONLY my email address as the Sender and they won't see my name. I just bought and installed the game and patch. When I'm playing single player, it doesn't seem to be able to handle my resolution, which is 1920 x 1200. I run COD4 perfectly on this, and even with low detail this feels jerky/chuggy, like slow motion. Also, when I try to do things in options sometimes it gets stuck and freezes. I feel that some of this game was done very half-a$$. Multiplayer was alittle bit more tolerable, although I had to run it on low settings. I don't understand why it's running so poorly on a new computer. I have a vista with a Nivida card that is supposed to play new games. Help is appreciated. Thanks!

Sister is having gastric byp surgery as we speak!?

My sister has always been heavier than I am (right now, I weigh 214lbs and she was always about 20lbs more than I). Well this afternoon she is having gastric byp surgery. I would probably have it done as well, but we dont have any health insurance where she does. I have three questions, 1. Has anyone heard of any surgeries of this type going wrong? 2. How many people who have this surgery gain the weight back? And 3. Should I be feeling guilty because she will probably end up being smaller than I? Why does hurt?

I've been wondering to myslef if I should ask this or not but i've been going through this for awhile I have a 2 1/2 yr old and a 6 month old. Well ever since i've been about 3 months pregnant with my first son it's hurt. My husband was my first and only. It didn't hurt at first and now it's extremely painful for me the word anymore just turns me off. im only 23 and my husband is 26 I've asked the doctor first she said it was because of cysts. Well I don't have them.. Then she told me to use alot of lubricant we've done it used diffrent kinds and it still hurts. I try to get excited before we do it still doesn't work. I love my husband and I am very attracted to him so that's not it. And he's not huge he's not small but he's decent for me... It doesn't hurt when he first goes in just after a certain point. Sores on my hands and legs?

lately my arms and legs have been really itchy. i don't scratch but i still get these sores on them, like my skin is peeling off. The area is tender hurts when water or anything else touches it. Keeping chickens for eggs: Is it profitable?

Not really. We have kept chickens for 5 plus years and they haven't paid off yet. We have had up to 30 laying hens and some times we couldn't give the eggs away because we had so many. We pay about $11.00 for a 50lb bag of layer pellets and they last about 10-14 days right now. We only have 13 chickens and roosters and they free roam during the day and are fed at night. During the winter they would/will go through the same bag in a week. In the winter they slow down on laying and we have to gather the eggs before they freeze throughout the day. There is way to much info to write about regarding this so my answer is just plain NO. Chickens are a conversation starter. Interesting and funny to watch but not profitable unless you raise 100's of them. We do use the eggs ourselves but you can only eat so many eggs a week before you are sick of them. We usually only charge $1.50 or less if we do sell them to our neighbors but generally we just give them away. We have entered them in the local fair and won ribbons for best in show or size.

I deleted my previous post... it was too vague... the error is in the last sentence... its a riddle, and without the final sentence, there would be NO ERROR... the final sentence is the key... if it is impossible to find the error, then how did 20% find one??? Spotty internet/ xbox live connection... Help me?

ok recently my cat chewed on one of the cables for my belkin router. When i went to the store to buy a new cable, the guy there recommended that i just buy a new router. so I did, and I now have a brand new cisco valet plus. and my modem is a motorola surfboard. its old, but i have never had any problems with it before. Ever since I set up the new router, my desktop computer that is connected by hard wiring works fine, yet all of my computers connected on wireless have a perfect and quick connection that is very spotty. I will be browsing the internet perfectly one minute, and pissed off the next. Sometimes turning Airport on my macbook pro and turning it back on works and sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes it will say that I am connected to my network and nothing will load, other times the network won't even show up or it will say connection timed out. As far as my xbox is concerned, I forwarded all of the necessary ports and set up a static IP address. If you test the connection it shows that it is connected with all four bars and that the NAT is open, yet none of my friends can hear me talk, and I can only hear them sometimes. This is the most frustrating thing ever, because it appears as if everything is working properly. Cisco claims to be so easy to set up, yet I call their support line and they can't even help me. I have no idea what to do, can somebody help me out

This happened very early in my life. It was during the summer of my 8th year while my parents and I were at our beach house for a few weeks. One day my parents thought they would get some ice cream for the house, so i went next door to play with one of my friends. My neighbours got a call shortly after and received word that my parents had gotten into a terrible car accident and were in the hospital in critical condition. A legal matter arose in which we may have been liable for as new owners because the sale was going to be a stock sale. For the past year I have complained to my Primary care physician about an abrupt change in my vision and pain in my eye. He referred me to an Optometrist who chalked it up to changes in my hormones ._. I found that to be utterly ridiculous and pressed the issue with him letting him know something was wrong. Im not a medic but I know my body. He told me he didn't think I needed another eye exam for another 5 years! but only saw me again 2wice more because I kept coming back complaining about different symptoms that did not seem normal. I requested a referral to another Doctor who, in my opinion, read the previous Doctors "diagnosis" and said he also felt it was hormonal and due to dry eyes ._. I went outside of my health care benefit program and paid out of pocket for an ophthalmologist to check my eyes because I had tremendous pain in my eye that caused a blood vessel to burst and the old Doctor said it was due to migraine headaches and gave me headache medicine! The new Doctor advised its due to interocular pressure or something like that which is a symptom of Gluacoma! and he found there to be evidence of Glaucoma which is a serious threat to vision and it turns out has history in my family. Can I sue them for the misdiagnoses? If I had listened I would have ignored it and not gone back for 5 years! and one thing Ive read is that early detection is the key and this disease apparently is known as a "silent vision thief " I want to sue for malpractice and for the numerous 20 dollar co pays and the fees for seeing the new Doctor, can I do this?

Loose bowel movements ociated with diarrhea everyday?

I can't remember when this all started but it was over a year ago. But it was worse in my last year of highschool. I am very shy and nervous alot. I'll get right down to it: i have cramps sometimes and need to go to the bathroom. I usually feel pain when I go, not in my rectum just like in my abdomen. The need to go increases when I get nervous which is basically all of the time when i'm at work or in any store. That sucks cuz i will be in walmart and the pain and pressure starts and I need to go. Im surprised when I actually have one bowel movement that is normal and the rest of the day they aren't. Pepto doesn't help all of the time only occasionally. It really sucks at work cuz i work monday through friday 9am till 430 or 5pm and i try to be in good mood but my stomach won't let me. I just wish I could be regular. Im going to try to eat a serving of yogurt a day for two wks and see what thar does for me. Car trips for me are sucky cuz i get dirreaha. Throughout the day I make about 5-10 trips to the bathroom. I went to the doctor almost a year ago and he put me on lexapro, and that pretty much worked but i can't remember if it worked all of the time. I quit taking it cuz it's not good when you're pregnant and i'm trying to get pregnant. Can someone please help me?

A/C won't change vent setting?

My A/C won't change its setting. What I mean by that is I slid the lever over to defrost, and then over to defrost/floor, but now it wont blow anywhere except on the window and on the floor. The lever slides freely(almost too freely) back and forth fine, but it won't change where it blows. I can't set it to come out of the vents or just the floorboard. In other words, the lever moves back and forth fine, but the air only blows as if its on the defrost/floor setting no matter where i move the lever. The A/C does blow cold, there is no issue with that.

My period is very irregular and I just got prescribed birth control. When should I start it?

I get my period at the weirdest times. sometimes weeks in between, sometimes months, and it lasts from 2 or 3 weeks, to a month or more (with light days in between, and then heavier). Anyways, I just got prescribed Yasmin, and my doctor said to take it when I get my period, but that can be months from now... So, will anything happen if I start it when I'm not on my period? I mean, my cycle is really messed up, so... would it really matter?

Did I Find My Voice?!?

I have this wierd situation... I am able to imitate a lot of different singers... But I find its sooo much easier on my throat (even when breathing from the diaphram) to sing like toni braxton/cher... Its not really even an imitation anyone can tell you im dead on! Im just wondering if just like them, my voice was made that way, or if im just really having a hard time finding my voice? Why is it that the worst drivers can be found on the interstate?

It seems everyday on my commute to work I come into contact with some of the most ignorant people who are severly vehicularly challenged. There are emergency vet services, I would find a local one if I were you. I have one Rat Terrier and a dog on the way. My Rat has seizures from time to time. My vet has attributed it to stress. However there would only be one seizure at a time, not multiple. When we moved he had one, when there was a terrific snow storm he had one, events like that. It sounds like your dog is very sick though. I would find an emergency vet!!

Help! I'm afraid of my own heartbeat!?

Ever since I started getting panic attacks, I've been terrified of feeling my heartbeat. I began getting attacks about 2-3 months ago. I can't do anything strenuous or physical that would raise my heartbeat cause the feeling is so similar to a panic attack that I'll just have a full blown panic attack that feels like it lasts for like 20 minutes. I'm afraid of getting a panic attack while my heart rate is already fast and dying of a heart attack or going into cardiac arrest. I've talked to a nurse and she said nothing bad can happen except I'll begin to hyperventilate, but it's hard to beleive that that's all that can happen when you get a panic attack ONTOP of an already accelerated heart rate. Even when I'm sitting down and I feel like my heart is beating too fast, I'll have a panic attack. So how can I get over this fear of my heart beating? Please don't tell me to straight up just work out, cause I can't that's the problem! Lol.... :(

Opiate addiction and military basic training?

Hey everyone. I have a friend who has been abusing narcotics on a regular basis for over a year now. His drug of choice is Dilaudid, more specifically, Hydromorphcontin. He snorts these pills on a regular basis, perhaps even daily. I don't see him that much anymore as he is usually out doing these drugs and I am currently a student at a nearby university. I fear he has become addicted to these drugs, as his physical appearance has taken an alarming decline - he has lost tons of weight, and he was a skinny fellow to begin with - now he weights maybe 110 pounds and he is about 5 foot 9, and is almost 22 years old. He claims to be going to basic training for the Army in July, but I am wondering how much of a chance he has with his addiction to opiates. He is not physically active, and usually sleeps in all afternoon. My question is directed towards people who have experience with opiate addiction and withdrawal symptoms and/or people who have went through basic training for the Canadian Armed Forces. Is it possible to quit Dilaudids cold turkey in a matter of 4 months and complete basic training subsequently? I don't believe my friend has any intentions of quitting these drugs anytime soon, and he will likely be in a state of denial if confronted about his drug abuse, saying things like "I'm just having some fun before I ship off to basic"... Furthermore, can any members of the CF tell me what the drug testing policy is for recruits.
