What are you supposed to do when your phone gets wet?

take the back cover off if you have one, take the battery out, open the phone if its a flip phone, put it in a bag of rice for a day to soak up all the water, cross your fingers it will work. do not turn it on until you're sure its dry all the way through or else you may short something out and it wont work at all.
