Is there different kind of italians?

Ok i wanna call this girl out that i know that ever since jersey shore lol i think from out of nowhere she claiming to be italian haha sorry cant stop laughing shes fully influence salvadure�en from el salvador her parents are FULLY from there shes a childhood friend so is there different type of italians that i can ask her what kind she is or something that would make her shut up and stop leaving qoutes in italian on facebook hahaha.. Talking about shes proud to be italian i most sercently think she should stop wacthing jersey shore.. Heck! Im mexican and i dont have to be ashame of my race and say im something else its messed up in a way to her parents.. Thank you please help a girl out haha..
