Are you tired of all these shows and channels devoted to celebrity worshipping?!?

My girlfriend watches those celebrity worshipping shows like Xtra, Entertainment Tonight, E-news, the E channel, and all those other insanely annoying shows on tv that worship celebrities. Does anyone else feel disgusted at how these shows worship celebrities and try to show us how glamorous and better these people are than regular people? Im so freakin sick of seeing a 30 minute show devoted to that P.O.S. Lindsey Lohan and how she spends thousands of dollars on a single shopping trip on herself. And how all these celebrities have the best of the best, and spend millions of dollars on stuff they dont need instead of doing some good with it. I feel like they are encouraging people like Paris Hilton and such to do things like this. I flipped when i heard Britney Spears has coffee flown over from england on a freakin plane! Why are there so many shows like these?! Does anybody feel like the media and such are just getting out of control and trying to stuff this crap in our face too much?
